A well-established digital media and content organization undergoing continued technology modernization across its data, AI, and ecommerce capabilities. The organization is working across multiple technology initiatives that require strong coordination between internal business and engineering teams and external technology partners.


Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Technical Product / Program Manager to lead and coordinate two high-impact technology initiatives: an AI/data platform implementation and a large-scale ecommerce launch.

This role will serve as a central point of coordination between business stakeholders, internal technical teams, and external technology vendors. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical program management experience, hands-on Shopify expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to manage complex projects from requirements gathering through launch, UAT, adoption, and handoff.

The role requires someone who is comfortable operating in fast-paced environments, managing vendor accountability, identifying technical and operational risks, and coordinating real-time execution during critical launches.

Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple technology initiatives, managing timelines, dependencies, risks, vendors, and stakeholders.

  • Manage external vendors against SOWs, milestones, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring accountability and delivery.

  • Coordinate the implementation and MVP delivery of an AI/data platform, including requirements gathering, UAT, stakeholder alignment, adoption, and handoff.

  • Partner with technical teams and business stakeholders to translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.

  • Lead Shopify ecommerce launch readiness, coordinating technical vendors, infrastructure, security, load testing, observability, and checkout performance.

  • Coordinate go-live activities, risk management, issue escalation, and real-time communication during critical launches.

  • Maintain clear project documentation, decisions, risks, processes, and handoff materials.

Qualifications and Job Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager, Technical Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, or similar role.

  • Proven experience managing complex technology implementations, including AI, data, analytics, or digital platforms.

  • Strong hands-on Shopify experience is required, including experience supporting high-traffic ecommerce launches.

  • Experience managing external vendors against SOWs, timelines, milestones, and delivery commitments.

  • Strong technical understanding of ecommerce infrastructure, security, scalability, traffic/load, and checkout performance.

  • Experience leading UAT, requirements gathering, launch readiness, risk management, and go-live activities.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with multiple concurrent priorities.

  • Availability for an immediate start with strong U.S. time-zone overlap.
