Business Banking (BB) manages relationships with Commonwealth Bank’s small-medium enterprise customers, mid-market corporate customers, and regional and agribusiness customers, providing a wide range of financial services and solutions.

Business Lending (BL) offers working capital, business loans, asset finance, corporate finance, and property finance to our customers. BL is directly responsible for product management, process management, technology, portfolio and pricing management and arrears and financial difficulty management as well as Line 1 risk and controls.

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to join our Business Lending team, focused on transforming the way customers explore, compare and apply for lending products across digital and assisted channels. This is a high-impact role sitting at the intersection of product, technology and customer experience, with the opportunity to shape and deliver a modern, intelligent lending journey end-to-end.

You’ll be part of a team operating at the forefront of business banking innovation - reimagining business lending and building next-generation agentic customer and banker experiences.

What you'll do

• Own and evolve the product roadmap for key parts of the end-to-end business lending journey

• Partner with cross-functional squads (engineering, design, data) to deliver complex, scalable platforms

• Reimagine existing experiences and redesign how customers apply for business loans from the ground up

• Be the bridge between business and technology, ensuring alignment and clarity across stakeholders

• Drive outcomes across multiple channels including digital, assisted and AI-enabled experiences

• Influence and collaborate with a broad stakeholder group across business, technology, risk and operations

What you'll bring

We're looking for an experienced Product Manager, someone who blends strong product leadership with deep technical understanding

Core experience:

• Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager in complex, technology-led environments

• Strong background in platform or product delivery at scale

• Track record designing and leading complex, cross-functional delivery

Technical depth:

• Strong technical fluency across modern platforms, including APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure and integration patterns.

• Experience working with data, AI/ML or automation capabilities to create measurable customer, operational or commercial value.

• Able to challenge, shape and simplify technical options with engineers, architects and data teams, turning complex trade-offs into clear product decisions.
