Job Description

The Senior Tech Lead is a technical expert responsible for ensuring high availability of a suite of applications in the production environment. This position requires experience in Informatica Platform Administration activities to maintains operational day-to-day IT functions for the business applications with Informatica/IDMC as ETL Tool and IWA and Tidal as scheduling tool.
Experience in Informatica Cloud is required.
Experience in AWS services specially AWS Glue will be preferred
Experience in bug fixing and development is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Administration and management of Informatica tool for on-prem and cloud, user groups, permissions
• Experience with administrative, migration and product upgrades in Informatica space; should be experienced with installation and setup
• Should have extensive knowledge of handling the ETL production batches and should be able to take care of ETL batch recoveries in case any infrastructure issue.
• Troubleshooting experience and handling call with Informatica Product team
• Generate innovative ideas and apply them in implementing solutions. 
• Flexibility and adaptability towards changing organizational needs. 
• Good Communication skills
• Provides technical assistance for incoming queries and issues related to the software products
• Maintains operational day-to-day IT functions of Informatica products 
• Performs root cause analysis to determine nature of software environment issues as they arise and provide solution.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science Engineering/ Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• Has at least 10-15 years of experience in Informatica Platform Administration or ETL Production Support.
• Experience with administrative, migration and product upgrades in Informatica on-prem and cloud space. Candidate should be experienced with installation and configuration setup
• Experience in admin activities in Linux environment
• Aware of Data Governance services in Informatica Cloud and Infrastructure
• Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated track record of success in delivering Platform Projects
• Previous hands-on experience with industry Governance, design, data quality tools, and reporting tool sets. 
• Ability to support working outside of normal business hours to provide after hour or "on-call" support when necessary to solve high priority incidents/problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge or understanding of the following skills highly preferred:
• Previous hands-on experience with industry Governance, design, data quality tools, and reporting tool sets. 
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS services in Data Engineering space.
