At Cavallo, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Consultant to join our dynamic Professional Services team. As the ideal candidate, you are an experienced technical expert who thrives on transforming complex business requirements into elegant, scalable software solutions.

In this role, you will act as a critical bridge between business strategy and technical execution, leading complex ERP and workflow optimizations that drive massive operational efficiency for our clients. You will work in close collaboration with Functional Consultants to ensure all technical requirements of a customer implementation are met flawlessly, taking ownership of specialized, high-impact technical tasks.

This senior position focuses extensively on our powerful SalesPad for Dynamics GP suite of products, as well as the growing SalesPad for Business Central ecosystem. You will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through cloud and on-premise distribution software transformations, specifically assisting customers in designing and building advanced, automated workflows to unlock maximum efficiency within Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Implementation & Delivery

  • Solution Design & Translation: Frequently work in tandem with Functional Consultants to understand intricate business processes and translate complex functional requirements into robust, sustainable technical specifications and architectures.
  • Advanced Scripting: Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance custom scripts using SQL and C#, complex reports using Microsoft SQL, custom fields, and specialized integrations necessary for successful software implementations.
  • Core Product Mastery: Serve as a senior technical resource for the SalesPad for GP suite integrating with Dynamics GP, and drive technical deployment for SalesPad for Business Central.
  • Workflow Optimization: Collaborate directly with client stakeholders to map out, construct, and refine advanced operational workflows, utilizing SalesPad to eliminate bottlenecks and make their ERP processes significantly more efficient.

Technical Risk Mitigation & Strategic Growth

  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate complex technical risks, performance issues, and structural challenges throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as an internal technical authority, trusted advisor, and primary escalation point for the broader consulting and implementation teams.
  • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Actively participate in and lead ongoing technical training to continually expand the technical capabilities and maturity of the Professional Services team.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a technical consulting, software implementation, or systems integration role within an enterprise software environment.
  • ERP Ecosystem Expertise: Proven, deep technical experience working with Microsoft Dynamics GP and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • SalesPad Familiarity: Prior experience implementing, configuring, or scripting within the SalesPad product ecosystem is a plus.
  • Advanced Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL Server and C# or other programming languages.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Skills Required
