The role
As a Technical Business Analyst (all genders), you’ll turn ambitious ideas into real-world digital products. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you’ll guide interdisciplinary teams and customers from concept to launch – ensuring clarity, alignment, and impact every step of the way. If you enjoy combining strategic thinking with hands-on collaboration and want to shape solutions that truly matter, this role is for you.

How you’ll make impact

Together with our customers, you’ll drive complex and technically challenging digital product development projects – from the first concept to the certified product launch.

  • Act as the key link between business goals, user needs, and technical delivery for connected and software-driven products.

  • Capture and structure requirements to ensure transparency and traceability throughout the lifecycle.

  • Collaborate closely with experts across software, embedded systems, hardware, UI, and cloud – translating complex discussions into clear, actionable insights.

  • Bridge business and engineering perspectives with confidence, empathy, and curiosity.

  • Support customers in regulated or safety-critical environments (e.g. medical devices, industrial automation).

  • Continuously improve requirements management methods and tools (e.g. Polarion, DOORS, Jira, Confluence).

  • Represent the product and requirements perspective clearly and constructively with customers and stakeholders.

  • You’ll spend part of your time on-site with your project team or at the customer’s location – right where collaboration and impact come together.

What’s important to us

  • Degree (FH/Uni) in software engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or a related field – or equivalent practical experience.

  • Several years of experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, or product ownership, ideally within software or connected-device development.

  • Solid knowledge of requirements management and traceability principles.

  • Broad understanding of how software, firmware, hardware, and user interfaces interact.

  • Experience in regulated industries is an advantage.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present clear, well-reasoned perspectives.

  • Analytical, structured, and pragmatic mindset; comfortable in agile, interdisciplinary teams.

  • Fluent in German (both written and spoken) and very good command of English.

What we offer

  • Work life blend: Flexible working hours, hybrid work options, and a safe, healthy workplace culture.

  • Profit share scheme: In addition to your annual salary, you may receive a profit share based on the company’s success.

  • Global and Diverse Zühlke community: witness how colleagues from all our 16 offices across the globe come together to create a unique, positive and inclusive work culture, learning from one another at annual team camps, and celebrating year-end parties and other local festivities.

  • Committed to development: we are committed to the growth of our people and are investing in your development. We’re empowering you to build the skills you need to make a positive impact, both personally and for our clients, today and in the future.
