Pexip simplifies complex video conferencing to empower teams to meet - regardless of location, technology or security requirements. Our technical communication is an essential part of our customer relationship. Pexip is extremely proud of the quality and breadth of its documentation and support, and receives constant internal and customer praise for both. We are looking for passionate, confident, curious communicators to help customers understand our products.
What's the opportunity? If you enjoy understanding the seemingly complex and making it appear simple, then this role could be for you!
We are seeking an enthusiastic, technically-focussed individual who can write documentation for end users and administrators. This documentation explains how to install, integrate, manage, use, and troubleshoot the Pexip products and services.
You’ll be working closely with and supported by the existing Documentation Lead, while working alongside software engineers to document features while they are being developed. You’ll also work with customer support, solution architects and sales engineering to understand the issues customers face and what information they require, and use this to proactively and continuously improve the documentation. We believe in enabling people rather than managing them, so we are looking for self-motivated individuals who are willing to take on responsibility for identifying areas where they can make the best contribution.
Based in the Reading, UK area, Pexip offers a flexible work environment with the option to work from home whenever needed. However, we encourage regular in-person office attendance to promote collaboration and inspire and motivate team members.

- Ability to absorb technical information and customer use cases and apply these to targeted documentation.

- Enjoy working in an environment that requires the ability to juggle a variety of tasks and take ownership and responsibility for their delivery.
- Persistence and an eye for detail.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Experience with API documentation or scripting is a plus.
