Senior Technical Artist

The Senior Technical Artist acts as a bridge between the artists and programmers, ensuring the art content and features are easily integrated, while respecting the artistic vision and technical constraints of the project. Your role is to support the content production art teams in achieving top-quality results within the context of the project. You will work closely with the Art Directors and the programming team to help implement technical art features and new technologies in the project.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute Unity UI integration with proven expertise, ensuring seamless functionality, high visual quality, and optimized performance.
• Collaborate effectively with US and Vietnam-based teams, demonstrating strong English communication skills for smooth cross-border coordination.
• Work independently and proactively, identifying and implementing workflow or integration improvements without supervision.
• Create complex level art assets that require both art and technical skills eg. shaders, cloth sims
• Provide technical advice and guidance to the internal art team to ensure best implementation outcomes that align with artistic direction and technical standards.
• Able to take on RnD tasks for various software and production workflow.
• Maintain a high level of artistic quality, demonstrating a strong eye for detail and visual consistency throughout UI integration and implementation.
• Take initiative in problem-solving and optimization, ensuring efficient production pipelines and stable integration results.
• Support and guide junior artists, sharing best practices, technical knowledge, and maintaining high standards across the team.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a digital art content creation pipeline, ideally in the video game industry.
• Proven expertise in Unity UI systems (layout, animation, transitions, and responsiveness).
• Technical ability with familiarity across multiple programming and shader languages: Python, C#, C++, Nvidia CGfx, HLSL (shader knowledge is a strong plus).
• Have basic scripting proficiency (C#) sufficient for independent UI integration and simple tool creation.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, self-driven mindset.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to communicate effectively and work across departments.
• Innovative and adaptable, with a willingness to learn new technical skills and contribute creative ideas.
• Confidence and influencing skills to present and advocate for technical-art solutions.
