Job Description
In this role the person will be the responsible for ensuring success of business critical application operations by supporting the day to day batch processing, analyzing and fixing the issues on priority while adhering to standards and SLA's. The person should be able to support High priority(P1/P2) incidents dynamically by providing timely resolution for the problem and handle other service requests. The person will also be responsible for handling minor enhancements, perform code reviews, handle application outages(planned/unplanned) and responsible for performance and maintenance of the highly critical business application. For this role we are looking for a highly motivated Individual who will be working as Sr. operations analysts working in technologies such as SnowFlake, AWS, DevOps tools, Windows, Linux etc. and operating in DevSecOps ModelThe person should exhibit leadership qualities and demonstrate business acumen while working closely with business users to understand requirements and help team translate it into technical changes.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves automation of manual activities across in-house and vendor applications, and cloud-based environments using Python, PowerShell, and CI/CD tools.
Design, build, and support Snowflake data platform capabilities including environment setup, data pipelines, performance optimization, role-based access control, and operational support.
Implement Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new tools, ideas, and processes to improve business outcomes and operational efficiency.
Participate in on-call rotation and follow defined support responsibilities.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (development, testing, project management, data engineering) to gather feedback and implement operational improvements.
Review event generation, monitoring, and alerting setup across applications and Snowflake workloads; enhance and automate to reduce noise and improve reliability.
Coordinate between US and India teams for infrastructure setup, process automation, POC delivery, and BAU requirements.
Manage and optimize AWS services supporting Snowflake and enterprise workloads (security, networking, automation, observability, and cost optimization).
Required Qualifications
Bachelors/master's degree in computer science/information systems or equivalent.
Person should have above qualifications and 4 -7 years of experience in relevant disciplines including:
Automation through Python/PowerShell.
CICD Tools – Bitbucket, Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory, Guthub
Strong Snowflake experience:
Snowflake architecture and virtual warehouses.
SnowSQL, Streams/Tasks, Time Travel, Data Sharing.
Performance tuning and query optimization.
RBAC, masking policies, and secure data access.
Integration with ETL/ELT tools and orchestration platforms
AWS Knowledge (EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, CFT)
Strong AWS experience:
EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation
AWS security best practices, monitoring, and automation.
Working knowledge of cost optimization and high availability
POC (Proof of Concept) implementation.
SQL scripting and advanced query writing.
Windows OS knowledge (Registry Editor, Group Policies, Server Roles etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates who have used following tools (or have familiarity with below) will have added advantage:
Have bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
7-10 years of IT Experience
Demonstrated reasoning and troubleshooting skills.
Technical skill requirements vary per domain.
Good communication Skills
Hands-on training/experience with Snowflake, AWS, CI/CD tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Github), SQL, PowerShell, and Python.
