BeOne is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst, Direct Tax that will report to the Direct Tax Senior Manager and support them in all direct tax aspects in GBS. This role ensures the accuracy and compliance of direct tax reporting for the jurisdictions GBS supports
This role has a hybrid work pattern, 3 days per week from our Warsaw office with 2 day remote.
Responsibilities
As a key support to the Senior Manager, Direct Tax, this role will focus heavily on data collection, validation, and preparation to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance and reporting. Responsibilities include:
• Gather and structure large volumes of financial data to support the preparation of direct tax returns, including both income and non-income-based taxes, in collaboration with external advisors
• Conduct detailed data quality checks and reconciliations prior to tax filings and provision reporting
• Assist in quarterly and annual US GAAP tax provision processes, including current and deferred tax inputs
• Compile payment schedules and assist in coordinating the execution of tax payments, with a focus on automation and efficiency
• Maintain and update compliance trackers and tax calendars to ensure timely filings and internal alignment
• Monitor legislative changes and assist in assessing their impact on reporting requirements and tax treatment
• Support the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and data collection for BEPS Pillar 2 compliance
• Assist in maintaining and improving tax templates, models, and tools used for intercompany charges and reporting
• Use Excel (including formulas/macros) and Power BI to streamline and automate recurring tax processes
• Generate ad hoc reports and visual dashboards for tax, finance, and business stakeholders
• Coordinate with global tax, finance, and shared service teams to ensure timely data delivery and alignment on reporting requirements
• Contribute to process improvement and standardization initiatives across the tax function
• Participate in various ad hoc projects as directed, ensuring high data integrity and collaborative execution
Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline required.
• 3+ years of related experience in direct or in-direct taxes or GL accounting is required; public accounting and/or shared service center experience, a plus
• Strong tax technical skills including expertise in Corporate Income Tax and other direct taxes is an advantage
• Excellent English skills, both written and verbal. Additional language, a plus
