The Opportunity

Adobe is searching for a tax provision senior tax analyst to join Adobe's tax provision team. Reporting to the tax provision manager, the senior tax analyst will work alongside technical and dedicated tax professionals to prepare the quarterly income tax accounting and reporting and other exciting tax initiatives.

What you'll Do

• Prepare quarterly and annual tax provision under ASC 740, including the current and deferred tax provision calculation, tax account rollforwards and reconciliations, ASC 718 tax calculation, uncertain tax positions, and tax footnotes and disclosures for quarterly and annual SEC filings

• Monitor tax accounting rules, SEC reporting pronouncements and federal and state income tax laws to proactively identify issues and propose resolutions

• Help build tax models to evaluate and project tax rate implications for planning initiatives and legislative updates

• Provide support for mergers and acquisitions, audit settlements, and other unique transactions

• Drive automation initiatives to increase the efficiency of the tax accounting process

• Prepare technical memos and documentation

• Work closely with external auditors and internal team members

What you need to succeed

• 3+ years of tax accounting experience at a public accounting firm and/or public multinational company

• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to work collaboratively with other teams

• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Exceptional multitasking ability, upbeat demeanor, and ability to stay organized and operate in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with OneSource is a plus

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $95,100 -- $195,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
