Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to provide digital ecosystem, cloud architecture, and Model-based System Engineering expertise in support of the Missile Defense Agency Chief Digital Officer (CDO) mission.
What You'll Be Doing:
Able to combine expertise in API integration, cloud architecture, model-based systems engineering, dashboard development, DevSecOps, tactical interoperability, and digital engineering to coordinate and accelerate delivery of operational capabilities.
Lead onboarding and integration of external software, models, simulations, AI tools, and operational capabilities.
Design and implement secure API-based integrations and data exchange architectures.
Design and implement AI-enabled digital ecosystems supporting human-machine teaming.
Develop integration architectures connecting APIs, data services, semantic layers, knowledge graphs, and AI orchestration frameworks.
Implement semantic data models and ontologies to improve AI reasoning and data discoverability.
Develop AI-ready data pipelines that transform structured and unstructured data into consumable knowledge assets.
Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic AI frameworks, and workflow automation services into enterprise environments.
Develop enterprise dashboards and common operational pictures.
Support MBSE activities using SysML, activity diagrams, and block diagrams.
Develop common data models and integration standards.
Support tactical interoperability including Link 16 and gateway architectures.
Support DevSecOps pipelines and cloud-native deployments.
Provide technical recommendations to government leadership.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
BS in STEM field.
7+ years related experience in software integration, systems engineering, or enterprise architecture.
Experience with API design and integration.
Working knowledge of MBSE and SysML.
Experience building enterprise dashboards.
Experience with cloud environments and container technologies.
Active or Interim Secret clearance.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Experience supporting DoD programs.
Experience with Cameo, MagicDraw, Sparx EA, or Rhapsody.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, or Kibana.
Experience with Kubernetes, GitLab, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
