As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to support an industry-leading Engineering team by applying your skills in managing complex Linux-based applications, conducting service-affecting performance analytics, and developing and executing both automated and manual test cases. You will be responsible for taking system specifications from paper to a fully functional system, ensuring it operates as designed, and providing ongoing support throughout its entire life cycle.
What you will do?
Your responsibilities will encompass a range of critical tasks, including configuring Linux-Based applications, collecting, and analyzing data, and setting up and executing performance scenarios and test cases. You will play a key role in creating and finalizing procedures for the installation, configuration, and validation of system servers. Troubleshooting support for architecture, infrastructure, and network engineering teams will also be part of your duties, focusing on the servers under your supervision.
Your expertise in managing and configuring AAA systems (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting), DPI systems (Deep Packet Inspection), and databases will be essential. You will be involved in designing and implementing new architecture systems to enhance user services, beginning with system infrastructure design and architecture, Proof of Concept, and progressing through installation, network integration, and ensuring production readiness.
Throughout these phases, you will conduct detailed Proof of Concept for new systems, emphasizing functionality, reliability, and compatibility with existing infrastructure. Additionally, you will oversee the seamless integration of new system components, encompassing both hardware and software.
Your role will also involve researching and resolving issues without established solutions, maintaining comprehensive local documentation, and updating it regularly.

During the pre-production phase, you will conduct meticulous testing and validation to identify potential issues and ensure robust and efficient configurations. This serves as a crucial checkpoint before transitioning to the production environment. Upon moving to production deployment, emphasize applying the validated configurations, including a thorough post-event report check, to ensure proper deployment aligned with predetermined specifications.
