THE WORK• Coordinate with the Government customer, and enterprise partners, as well as the program's leadership, development, and test teams.• Perform an analysis of customer requirements and assisting in determining a systems design plan while collaborating with development teams.• Develop Interface documentation and modeling that will be used to map systems applications to ensure products are making the most impact to our customers.• Assist in the generation of pre and post-deployment material for delivery and should have expertise in system design and interface organization.• Generate and update architecture artifacts representing the software baseline and deployment environments.

Basic Qualifications

• Must possess an active Security Clearance with a polygraph

• Fourteen (14) years' experience as a System Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.

• Experience developing system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components

• Experience in the development of documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents

• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related subject area from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Desired skills

• Operations maintenance experience

• Experience conducting quantitative analysis in non-functional system performance areas like Reliability, Maintainability, Vulnerability, Survivability, Producibility, etc.)

• Participation in interface definition, design, and changes to the configuration between affected groups and individuals throughout the life cycle

• Experience establishing and gaining approval of the definition of a system or component under development (requirements, designs, interfaces, test procedures, etc.) that provides a common reference point for hardware and software developers

• Experience developing requirements for Information Assurance Services; Basic Information Assurance Mechanisms; and Security Mechanism Technology.

• Experience managing system requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) - Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), etc.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Colorado Pay Statement

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $134,300 - $257,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $154,400 - $290,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
