The Datarunner project is currently seeking a Systems Engineer who can support the services provided by Datarunner. The team engineer would support on-going integration of Datarunner rules into test and production dataflows as well as provide assistance and manage high level requirements and solution development. This includes support for expansion of additional data types and sources and expanded customers that would need high level dataflow design and rule development. The interaction with corporate Data Distribution Service will continue with added customers.

Qualifications- Twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer (SE) supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrated experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph is required.

- Experience with Datarunner.
- Experience working with mission data formats.
- Experience with Apache NiFi functionality and building DataFlows is desired.
- Experience creating Systems Architectural Diagrams depicting software and system functions.

- Experience with JIRA ticket creation and scheduling tools.
- Experience with Agile sprint planning, retrospectives, ticket creation, labeling, and version management. Ability to establish clear goals for each sprint.
- Experience testing major releases with NiFi and other customers and producing and distributing release notes for all versions.
- Experience guiding and assisting the test team, reviewing tickets ready for testing, and closing tickets and sprints.
- Experience monitoring production systems and troubleshooting issues as needed.

Target Salary Range$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
