Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), Space and Launch Division is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer - Operations/Systems Analysis (Level 5)to perform mission product quality analysis and leadership for our dynamic 24/7 team in Las Cruces, NM.
Senior Systems Engineer is a senior contractor on site and works closely with government customers to direct operations. Provides overall operation management for all real-time operations elements. Provides continuity of system knowledge. Assists government customer in responding to real-time contingencies in operations.
Position Responsibilities:

• Provides continuity of system knowledge
• Provides comprehensive operational management
• Provides options and recommendations to government customers for day to day operation and contingency scenarios
• Provides leadership to operational crews

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Willing to work variable shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Able to successfully complete the Space Vehicle Certification program which requires a combination of self-study and on-the-job (OJT) training

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Prior experience with coding/scripting with various languages (MATLAB, Pearl, etc...)
• Prior experience working with space vehicles
• Prior operational leadership position

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $153,000 - $207,000
