Job Objectives:
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft technologies, hybrid infrastructure, and cloud platforms. The role focuses on ensuring reliability, security, and performance of Windows and Microsoft 365 workloads while providing advanced technical support, collaborating with cloud teams, and driving continuous infrastructure improvements. 

Responsibilities 

• Manage and secure windows server environments hosted across on-premises data centers and cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), including deployment, configuration, patching, and performance optimization.  

• Administer and support windows server, active directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy, ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure across hybrid environments.  

• Collaborate with the cloud team to support windows-related workloads in AWS and Azure, including identity integration, licensing, networking, and resource optimization.  

• Implement and manage virtual environments and VDI solutions (e.g., Hyper-V, Azure Virtual Desktop, AWS Workspaces, VMware) to enable secure and scalable remote access.  

• Deploy, configure, and manage Microsoft Intune for device and application management across hybrid setups.  

• Develop and maintain infrastructure best practices for windows workloads in on-prem and cloud environments, ensuring compliance, security, and operational excellence.  

• Act as Level 3 support for IT infrastructure and Microsoft 365, resolving complex technical issues and mentoring junior IT staff.  

• Configure, manage, and maintain Firewall and VPN solutions to safeguard network infrastructure.  

• Develop and manage SharePoint sites and Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune).  

• Provide technical support for infrastructure-related issues escalated by helpdesk or other teams.  

• Participate in infrastructure improvement projects and contribute to automation and optimization initiatives.   

Requirements  

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering or related field is required.   

• 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex Microsoft infrastructure environments.   

• Effective verbal and written communication skills (Proficiency in English Language).   

• Proven track record of successful Azure architecture and deployment projects, with a deep understanding of Azure services and capabilities.   

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint,OneDrive, and Intune.   

• Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware) and VDI technologies.   

• Hands-on experience with Azure AD, Azure AD Connect, identity federation, and SSO.  

• Experience with any IAM Provider.   

• Experience using RMM, preferably ConnectWise & Intune.   

• Experience with cloud environments particularly AWS, for hosting windows workloads.   

• Experience gathering client requirements, creating, and configuring innovative solutions, and presenting proposed solutions in a clear, concise manner.   

•  Lead and participate in IT projects.   

• Prepare and present weekly updates.
