We are looking for an experienced Senior System Consultant to join our Global Delivery Team and become a key technical expert for our German customers, with a particular focus on Telekommunikationsüberwachung (TKÜ), TR-TKÜV, and the German Lawful Interception (LI) domain.

This is a highly technical and customer-facing role where you will work at the intersection of technology, regulatory requirements, product development, and customer needs.
As a Senior System Consultant, you will be a trusted technical advisor to our customers and an important link between the German market and XCI's Product and Development teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the technical expert and primary contact for German TKÜ and TR-TKÜV requirements, with a strong understanding of the German LI environment

  • Supporting the implementation and continuous adoption of German TKÜ and TR-TKÜV requirements in XCI’s solutions

  • Developing and maintaining technical concepts, specifications, documentation, guidelines, and best practices

  • Advising customers, Product Management, Development, Sales, and Delivery teams on technical and regulatory requirements

  • Translating customer and market requirements into clear technical requirements and input for Development

  • Evaluating whether proposed solutions and implementations meet relevant customer, technical, and regulatory requirements

  • Participating in customer meetings, workshops, technical discussions, and site visits

  • Supporting and, where appropriate, taking technical ownership of proof-of-concepts, installations, and customer implementations

  • Supporting pre-sales activities through technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and customer discussions

  • Reviewing solution architectures and technical designs and providing expert recommendations

  • Supporting complex troubleshooting, system operations, installations, and technical consulting

  • Contributing to internal training, knowledge sharing, and documentation

  • Monitoring developments in German legislation, regulations, technology, and market requirements relevant to TKÜ and Lawful Interception

You will have significant responsibility and autonomy and will play an important role in ensuring that XCI's solutions meet the expectations and requirements of the German market.

Your Profile
You have 5-10 years of professional experience in a technical consulting, system engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, solution engineering, or similar role within a software or technology company.

You combine strong technical expertise with a structured and customer-oriented approach. You are comfortable working hands-on with complex technical environments while also understanding the wider architectural and business context.

Ideally, you bring experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • German TKÜ / Telekommunikationsüberwachung

  • TR-TKÜV

  • Lawful Interception

  • Technical solutions for police, intelligence, defense, or public authorities

  • Security-critical or mission-critical software environments

  • Customer-facing technical consulting and solution implementation

Experience in the German public safety, defense, intelligence, or security technology market is a strong advantage.

You are:

  • Technically strong and analytical

  • Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented

  • Comfortable taking ownership and driving topics independently

  • Confident communicating with customers and technical stakeholders

  • Able to translate complex requirements into clear technical solutions

  • Comfortable working across Product, Development, Delivery, and Sales

  • Willing to travel and work directly with customers

  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

Technical Expertise
You should have solid experience with several of the following:

  • Linux and Windows environments

  • Docker and Kubernetes

  • Virtualization and cloud/hybrid infrastructure

  • Networking and infrastructure troubleshooting

  • Scripting and automation

  • Monitoring and observability, including Grafana and Prometheus

  • Elasticsearch and MongoDB

  • System architecture and technical design

  • IT security, hardening, and operational best practices

Experience with highly available, secure, and mission-critical systems is particularly relevant.

Location & Travel
The position can be based at our office in Saarbrücken or as a hybrid position in the surrounding area of Munich, depending on your location and experience.

The role involves regular travel to customer locations in Germany as well as occasional travel to XCI offices and training activities in Denmark and elsewhere in Europe.

Security Clearance
Due to the nature of our work with German law enforcement and intelligence authorities, security clearance is required for this position. All XCI employees must be eligible for the required security clearance, and a clean criminal record certificate will be required as part of the hiring process.
