The Role
Lead design and delivery of resilient system and network architectures for large-scale datacenter and operator environments. Drive automation (IaC), observability, virtualization/containerization, and advanced network architectures. Mentor engineers, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage datacenter rationalization, handle incident response, and represent the company publicly.
Summary Generated by Built In
We’re looking for a seasoned system Architect ready to shape the backbone of tomorrow’s digital connectivity. Join an ambitious team building robust, scalable infrastructures at the edge of innovation.
Tasks
Lead Complex Infrastructure Projects
Design and oversee resilient system and network architectures supporting large-scale, high-growth environments. Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability across all infrastructure layers.
Bridge Systems and Network Expertise
Operate at the intersection of systems and networking. Define technical standards and deliver solutions aligned with both operational and business objectives
Drive Automation and Observability
Implement infrastructure-as-code practices, improve monitoring stacks (Grafana, Telegraf, etc.), and ensure systems are observable, predictable, and auditable.
Mentor and Coordinate Across Teams
Guide cross-functional teams, support junior engineers, and collaborate with DevOps, product, and operations teams to ensure cohesive execution
Champion High Standards and Reliability
Lead by example in quality, documentation, and crisis management. Take a proactive stance on technical debt, incident resolution, and long-term architectural evolution.
Requirements
You have a proven track record at least 10 years in architecture roles combining system administration, networking, and team leadership, ideally in an operator or infrastructure-heavy environment
You are expert in Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian, RedHat) and capable of managing production infrastructure through a mix of automation, scripting (Go, Python), and observability tools.
You are experienced in handling virtualization and containerization platforms, implementing high-availability networks, and contributing to architecture design reviews with stakeholders from engineering and product teams
You are comfortable with IP addressing plans, DCIM/IPAM systems (like Netbox), and datacenter organization and optimization at scale.
You combine technical rigor with a strategic mindset, capable of aligning long-term infrastructure evolution with business objectives. You are self-directed, clear in your communication (oral and written), and effective in cross-functional environments.
As a Senior Systems Architect, your role is to define, build, and scale robust infrastructure architectures — both at the system and network levels — in support of critical operator and enterprise services.
You will lead the design of modular, resilient platforms, oversee their implementation across datacenters, and ensure operational excellence throughout the lifecycle. You are expected to master both systems and networking domains: Linux infrastructure, VPN deployments, IPv6 migration, and virtualization (OpenStack, Docker, LXC, VMWare). Your scope includes monitoring (Grafana, Telegraf, Shinken), automation (Ansible, Puppet, Juju), and advanced network architectures (IP/MPLS, routers, switches).
You will coordinate technical decisions across multiple teams, manage datacenter and asset rationalization, and act as a technical leader in crisis situations. You will also represent the company in public-facing settings such as webinars or technical forums
