About the Role
• Exposure to industry standards like UDS Diagnostics ISO14229, ISO26262, AUTOSAR• Understanding the hardware and schematics in short time.• Experience configuring with Embedded Realtime Operating Systems (RTAOS,RT Linux, QNX, OSEK, etc.)• C and assembly programming for 16/32/64 bit micro-controllers• Experience with Architecture development methodology using tools like Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, etc.• Experience in developing embedded software for OEM Vehicle networks• Good code debugging skills and Embedded C programming skills• Exposure to Cyber security know how.• Experience in Function safety analysis and adherence.• Exposure to Boot loaders
Your Responsibilities
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Software Architecture roles• Demonstrated competency with Posix concepts/architecture, Scheduling, OS configuration• Solid knowledge of Inter Process Communication• Good understanding of automotive standards such as A-SPICE, ISO 26262, and cybersecurity standards• Proven proficiency in using UML, Enterprise Architect, or similar modelling tools for effective system design and architecture.• Experience in designing and developing modular, reusable, and portable software within the automotive sector, focusing on innovation and efficiency.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.• Strong self-motivation, resilience, and a determined mindset are crucial qualities for success in this role.
• Champion the quality, design, development and release of assigned software project elements in accordance of a process• Evaluate change requests, analyze issues, perform basic functions of software design, code and test on assigned new features, change requests and defectfixes• Analyze legacy and third-party codebase in order to integrate into a coherent system/software architecture• Open mind to adapt to changing software release schedules and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment• Provide regular updates of assigned task progression to software lead for project planning, tracking and oversight• Identify or propose product process or infrastructure improvements• Contribute current status, relevant data and constructive opinion at team/section meetings; Exemplify consensus building and team-focused behavior• Interface with product development teams located in various geographical locations• Excellent people skills, ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team• Understanding hardware schematics, exposure to hardware design.• Participate in SW CCBs.• Tools:
a. Requirements Management using Codebeamer,
b. Architecture and SW Design using Enterprise Architect
c. Development using tools like Tasking Compiler, GHS Compiler
e. SW Quality Assurance using LDRA, QAC, Coverity, VectorCAST
f. Configuration Management using git, github etc.
