Boeing Mexico Service Company is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Supplier Performance Representative, reporting to the Global Field Operations Manager, working out of the Chihuahua, Mexico office. The Procurement Field Representative will support our Global Field Operations team in Central & East Mexico to mitigate delivery or quality issues impacting Boeing production.
This role requires partnership with Leaders across the enterprise and as active member of the Supply Chain teams. This position will discover new opportunities and solutions for business problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Participates in on-site supplier assessments to identify supplier capability and to support Boeing procurement strategy.
  • Evaluates overall supplier health and resources to determine viability.
  • Identifies problems, develops recovery plans and monitors supplier performance-to-plan to ensure compliance to contractual requirements.
  • Identifies improvement opportunities to enhance supplier capability.
  • Provides or recommends training and mentoring on business and manufacturing practices to improve or enhance supplier delivery performance.
  • Monitors activities to ensure that suppliers produce conforming and compliant products on time.
  • Monitors emergent offload or overload suppliers and provides technical assistance to ensure delivery schedule compliance and product conformity.
  • Identifies, establishes and maintains priorities for deliveries of products, services and data.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite including a Boeing, Supplier, or Customer facility. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement and/or Contract Administration roles
  • 5+ years of experience working in Manufacturing Operations
  • 5+ years of experience in problem solving, root cause analysis, and/or corrective action
  • 5+ years of experience in a role that required Industrial Engineering, Scheduling, Project and/or Program Management skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Must have a Bachelor Degree
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English and Spanish Language
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time domestically and internationally, must hold or have the ability to hold a valid passport
  • Must be legally able to work in Mexico

  • 8+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • 8+ years of experience in problem solving, root cause analysis, and/or corrective action
  • Experience in Supplier Quality

Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Additional Information:
This requisition is for a locally hired position in Mexico. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Mexico. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
