We are seeking a highly curious and ambitious Senior Supply Chain Planner to manage the front-end supply chain, focusing on procurement and production planning. This role will report to the Head of Global Supply Chain, be based fully onsite in Bedford, MA office, and be expected travel occasionally to meet with vendors. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage production plans that align with demand growth, while also meeting new product introduction timelines 
  • Lead procurement planning to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and subassemblies to meet production demand 
  • Lead initiatives to identify and qualify new suppliers to meet new product requirements, negotiating contracts as needed 
  • Manage supplier and contract manufacturer performance to drive continuous improvement in quality, delivery time, and cost 
  • Continuously assess and optimize vendor portfolio and footprint to meet the company’s growth plans 
  • Help achieve finished goods inventory targets to meet customer demand while minimizing costs 
  • Support Sales, Inventory, & Operations Planning (SIOP), escalating risks and owning solutions where required 
  • Collaborate with Engineering to influence technical design decisions and New Product Introductions (NPI) strategies 
  • Support the continual development of the materials management function, including warehousing, logistics, and fulfillment 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or another relevant field; Master’s Degree is a plus 
  • 3+ years of progressive supply chain experience ,e.g. across inventory management, supplier management, S&OP process execution, supply and demand planning, LEAN manufacturing; candidates with more experience, including people management, are also encouraged to apply and may be considered for a Supply Chain Manager role 
  • Track record in implementing world-class sourcing strategies, material planning, and supply chain continuous improvement programs 
  • Experience in NPI for hardware products, starting up and scaling volume production, and production transfers 
  • Solid knowledge in ERP/MRP systems. Familiarity with Odoo is a plus 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to make difficult and data-driven decisions 
  • Experience in complex, physical product industries such as medical device, semiconductor, or automotive preferred 
  • Experience with a start-up organization preferred
  • Exceptional negotiation and organizational skills 
  • Ability to lead in a cross-functional environment
