The Senior Supply Chain Engineering Manager will lead and optimize supply chain processes within General Motors, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and innovation in warehousing and logistics.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness across General Motors' global operations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and implementation of new warehousing solutions and technologies.
  • Analyze complex supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for various supply chain engineering initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless integration of supply chain processes.* Evaluate and select new technologies and best practices in business warehousing to enhance operational capabilities.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on supply chain performance, projects, and strategic recommendations.
  • Mentor and develop junior supply chain engineering staff

Required Qualifications:
  • 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain, engineering, logistics, or purchasing
    (any internship or co-op experience will not be considered)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects from conception to completion
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Must be willing to travel 5% Domestically

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Proven experience in Business Warehousing principles and practices
  • Experience with Google sheets, Excel, Power BI or related
