As the Senior Supply Chain Analyst, you will help support the product supply to all Pittsburgh Paints Company customers. You will also contribute to business planning requirements by running reports and performing analysis’ to be used for setting supply chain parameters to be used by Distribution, Marketing, Customer Service and Finance functions.
You will have a hybrid work schedule based in Cranberry Twp, PA and reports to the Manager of Fulfillment Planning.
Main Responsibilities:
- Learn and Use SAP and the Weeks of Supply Report to perform Fulfillment Planning functions at each assigned Latex Plant including each unique set of constraints
- Provide Fulfillment Planning coverage for each site to cover for planner’s absences
- Provide Fulfillment Planning Manager coverage for Manager absences
- Review and implement DC to DC replenishment of finished goods to rebalance inventory to maintain service levels
- Review service issues and works with relevant staff to develop recovery plans to ensure satisfactory customer service with minimal excess inventory
- Identify and execute rework and relabel opportunities to utilize excess inventory in lieu of producing additional product
- Prepare and Publish Launch/Promo Trackers as needed to ensure successful launch timing
- Update the daily North American Weeks of Supply Report
- Review and maintain Safety Stock and Safety Time settings
- Prepare and distribute Stock Transfer Orders Report
- Organize and Lead Slow Moving and Obsolete Inventory calls and engage appropriate responsible staff for resolution
- Contribute to the accomplishment of the assigned sites Key Performance Indicators
- Support network sourcing and replenishment model changes
- Help in developing and executing Supply Plan based on Sales and Operations Planning data, balancing customer and business requirements with Operating Working Capital targets
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within Supply Chain Planning, including tools and processes
- Perform Fulfillment Planning data analysis
- Ensure planning parameters within SAP remain aligned and current
- Be a SAP Power User, available to assist supported site Planners with SAP related issues and training
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field required.
- 5+ years’ experience in Inventory, Supply, or Demand planning
- SAP and Power BI experience
- APICS certification as a CPIM preferred.
