They will be responsible for developing business requirements, process documentation, operational playbooks, and governance artifacts that enable successful product delivery and seamless handoff into ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Requirements & Documentation
- Lead cross-functional business requirements gathering efforts across product, operations, risk, compliance, legal, and technology stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive business requirements documentation, functional requirements, process flows, and supporting artifacts.
- Establish strong documentation governance, ensuring traceability from business objectives through implementation and operational execution.
- Support feature and experience prioritization and requirements refinement.
- Program Delivery Support
- Serve as a core member of the debit card delivery team, coordinating documentation, requirements, and operational readiness efforts across workstreams.
- Track dependencies, decisions, action items, and implementation deliverables to support successful execution.
- Partner closely with product and program leadership to ensure strategic initiatives are translated into executable business processes.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Operating Model & Playbook Development
- Support the design of operating procedures, workflows, and playbooks that support debit card and money movement capabilities.
- Document end-to-end operational processes and partner with operational teams to transition ownership and execution responsibilities.
- Vendor & Operational Readiness Support
- Participate in vendor evaluations, onboarding activities, and implementation planning.
- Support contract reviews by documenting business requirements, service expectations, and operational dependencies.
- Partner with product, operations, and vendor teams to ensure readiness for launch and ongoing support.
- Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in card products, , payments, money movement, or financial services operations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop business requirements, process documentation, and operational procedures for complex initiatives.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and documentation quality.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively across Product, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Technology organizations.
- Experience with business analysis, project management, supporting vendor implementations, operational readiness, or service delivery programs preferred.
- Knowledge of payment systems, debit card programs, ACH, money movement, fraud controls, or regulatory frameworks preferred.
- Strong written communication, facilitation, and analytical skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in banking, payments or fintech.
- NACHA certification or payments-related experience is a plus.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
