The Role You Could Play
The Strategy team exists to create long-term value for MECCA by guiding, supporting, and shaping the business. As a Senior Strategy Analyst, you will analyse complex business problems, uncover insights, and generate recommendations that underpin MECCA’s most important decisions.
This is a hands-on role that brings structured thinking, analytical rigour, and creative problem-solving to ambiguous challenges. Analysts in the Strategy team gain high visibility and exposure across the organisation, creating opportunities to progress into broader leadership roles over time.
You will also:
- Support the development and evolution of MECCA’s enterprise strategy, annual strategic planning, and quarterly reviews
- Unpack market, customer, competitor, and financial performance data through structured analysis and business teardowns, revealing the underlying drivers of results and translating them into opportunities for MECCA
- Partner with leaders across functions to contribute to high-impact projects, building strong relationships and ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities
- Own discrete workstreams within enterprise projects, managing analysis, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement to deliver high-quality outputs on time
- Support colleagues across the Strategy team by sharing insights, building reusable frameworks, and contributing to knowledge assets that lift the team’s collective impact and effectiveness
What You Will Bring
- 3+ years’ experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or a high-growth business environment
- Exposure to consumer, retail, or digital industries advantageous (passion for beauty a plus)
- Experience working within complex, fast-paced organisations, balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline
- Strong numerical, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Structured, hypothesis-driven approach to problem-solving, balancing analytical rigour with business judgment
- Proven project management capability, with the discipline to prioritise and deliver across multiple workstreams
- Clear and confident communicator, skilled at tailoring messages for different audiences
- Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence outcomes through insight and collaboration
- Adaptable and resilient, able to thrive in an environment of change, pace, and rapid business growth
