This role ensures our workforce plans come to life—through strong systems, clean data, and coordinated execution across HR and the business.What You’ll Do
Interprets Workday signals and translates for HR COEs. Providing early visibility rather than reactive reporting. Ensures COEs are aligned to what is actually happening vs. what was planned. Example COEs:
Talent Acquisition (hiring demand signals)
Learning & Development (skill gaps, org shift, possible training classes)
HRBPS (org design changes, risks)
Variance Tracking & Reporting
Supports actual vs. plan tracking in Workday and Adaptive Workforce Planning tools (headcount, positions, spend)
Partner with our People Insights & Analytics team to elevate reporting into clear narratives and insights
Build and maintain regular reporting for leaders at multiple levels, to include executive leadership
Process Improvement & Governance in Workday
Owns position flow in Workday, to include review, approval, auditing and cleanup
Look for continued improvement in Workday, identifying process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities in business process design
Supports ticketing / change requests from Finance and HR Partners
Acts as and evolves resources for HRBPs and leaders
Serve as the team’s primary expert in Workday position data, transactions, and workflows

What You Bring
BA or advanced degree where Required
5+ Years of Experience; In lieu of degree, 7+ years exp.

In a Hybrid-Flex role, you’ll work in the office at least two days a week for collaboration and connection. In a Remote Flex role, you’ll work virtually, with a few in-office visits each year for meaningful moments that matter.

Salary Range
At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs.
