About the department
Learning and Organizational Development department drives a comprehensive and strategic approach to improving and enhancing an organization's overall effectiveness, efficiency, and adaptability. It involves implementing planned interventions and initiatives to enhance various aspects of the organization, including its structure, culture, processes, and human resources. This role will report directly to the Director of Learning & Organization Development.

The position
As a Senior Strategic Development Partner/ Organization Change Management Lead, you are responsible for overseeing Learning and Organizational Development (L/O D) initiatives across the organization. This involves engaging in strategic discussions with executive team members and global colleagues regarding L/O D initiatives, designing and executing them effectively with necessary stakeholders, and advising and supporting other team members using your experiences and knowledge. You are also in charge of successfully driving important global/internal cross-functional initiatives/projects, which require drastic changes, by building readiness, developing capabilities, monitoring change and benefiting realization.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Build good relationship with global colleagues and collaborate with them to align with global initiatives and gain their support for Novo Nordisk Japan's initiatives. Involve and engage necessary stakeholders in a proactive manner.
  • Develop and set purposes and goals of responsible L/O initiatives in alignment with business/people strategy. Execute initiatives effectively and measure effectiveness after the execution.
  • Contribute to creating people strategy/the department's strategy for the department's development and support other team initiatives.by sharing ideas and perspectives. Manage budget of responsible training/projects/initiatives.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration with project contributors across the organization for efficient and timely project delivery. Train all end-users in the new initiatives and process/system and ensure support before, during and after the change for a successful adaptation.
  • Monitor change readiness (acceptance/resistance) and measure adaptation to ensure the desired benefit realization.


Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 7 years or above working experience in learning development including sales training and organizational development.
  • Working experience of in pharmaceutical industry is preferable. Expert knowledge of own training areas (including Products, disease, selling skills)
  • Flexibility and willingness to adjust to shifting demands/priorities.
  • Fluency in Japanese and business-Level in English.
