Senior Statutory Accountant

Role: Senior Statutory Accountant

Location: Remote (Poland-based)

Responsibilities:

• Supervising and preparing recurring entries (accrual, posting of local bank entries)

• Month end report and download of data

• Preparing set of financials for national statistic reporting to local government bodies

• Analysis and queries on variances during monthly, quarterly and annual reviews

• Driving audit and responding to audit queries

• Investigation of anomalies or unusual entries

• Use of SAP and peripheric systems

• Collaboration with country lead, tax teams, and international colleagues

• Monitoring of equity, request and presentation of capital request BS monitoring

Requirements:

• Excellent English is critical

• Accounting qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in an accounting role

• Very good independence and self-motivation in a fully remote environment

• Analytical thinking and attention to detail

• Ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision

• Familiarity with SAP or other financial systems is a plus

• Curious and capable of questioning status quo
