Responsibilities:    
  • The imaging algorithm engineer will apply knowledge of image sensor and camera system to, scientifically, analyze key performance of OmniVision’s products and provide technical suggestions of improvement.
  • Conduct analytic studies of fundamental performance issues for CIS or ISP and provide technical suggestions of improvement
  • Work with analog/digital design team to differentiate the performance of the product in the industry
  • Simulate and analyze the image quality improvement of the product with new imaging algorithm
  • Develop scientific approaches for image sensor/camera system’s performances
  • Conduct modeling and simulation of imaging systems
  
Requirements:    
  • Must have 5 year experience / knowledge in CMOS sensor or camera ISP system
  • Must have C/C++ programming skills (Python, Matlab, C# and other language skills are plus)
  • Experience/knowledge in image signal processing and color technology is a plus
  • Experience/knowledge in RTL design and verification is a plus
  • Experience/knowledge in HLS is a plus
  • PhD / MS / BS in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science and Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Business level Japanese & English communication skill
  • Result oriented and embraced change behaviors
  • Project management skill is a plus
