About the Role
As a Senior Technical Analyst at Sky, you will dive into large datasets and analyze complex phenomena that impact our business. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and propose the best data analysis and reporting approaches. Your work will help shape strategic decisions and drive operational excellence.
Activities:
- Explore and analyze large volumes of data to uncover insights and trends that influence business outcomes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Design and implement high-quality reporting solutions using data from our cloud platform.
- Partner with Data Stewards and Data Governance experts to ensure high standards of data quality.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, crafting compelling data narratives to support decision-making.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve and streamline applications and processes across squads.
- Act as a key member of an agile squad, contributing to the delivery process and taking ownership of software quality from concept to production.
- Ensure data quality, traceability, and compliance throughout the data lifecycle, supporting governance initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis and reporting within complex enterprise projects.
- Proven experience managing large, complex datasets in cloud environments.
- Strong SQL scripting skills for querying, transforming, and extracting data.
- Familiarity with database design, data warehousing, and big data architecture principles.
- Solid experience in interpreting data to critically evaluate information from various sources and help stakeholders maximize data value.
- Proactive mindset with energy and a continuous improvement attitude, focused on delivering results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions in dynamic business environments.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
- Knowledge of Data Governance principles is a plus.
