Job Description

Checkout.com is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. You will play a vital role in the company’s growth and success, by identifying, attracting and hiring the best talent for our teams in North America, with a heavy focus (but not limited to) our Go-To-Market (GTM) positions within Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Account Management, and other commercial functions — critical to expanding our brand and footprint in the payments and fintech landscape.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in sourcing top GTM talent, a strong understanding of the North American market, and a track record of recruiting in fast-paced, high-growth environments, preferably within payments, SaaS, or fintech companies.

You'll be a trusted partner to hiring managers and business leaders, providing strategic recruitment insights, sourcing and guiding candidates throughout the entire recruitment process, ensuring a great candidate experience and establishing Checkout.com as an amazing company to work for.

Joining one of the fastest growing FinTech companies in the world, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a highly talented Talent Acquisition team, as well as our wider People function, People Operations, Development, Culture and Experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own full-cycle recruitment for GTM functions across North America, hiring Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Account Management talent and other functions upon demand, mainly for non-technical roles.

  • Craft innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-performing talent, particularly from fintech, payments, and technology sectors.

  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of passive candidates through proactive market mapping and relationship building.

  • Manage relationships both with candidates and internal business partners to ensure a smooth process and exceptional candidate experience that reflects Checkout.com’s values and brand.

  • Guide and coach hiring managers on talent market dynamics, recruitment best practices, and interview excellence.

  • Partner closely with broader People teams and Commercial leadership to align on workforce planning, hiring targets, and priorities.

  • Leverage data and insights to continuously improve recruiting strategies, enhance diversity, and optimize hiring outcomes.

  • Identify and participate in global impacting projects that benefit the wider business

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in full-cycle recruiting for Go-To-Market functions (e.g., Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Customer Success) within fintech, payments, SaaS, or technology companies.
  • Strong understanding of North American talent markets, particularly in high-growth, commercial organizations.

  • Experience partnering with senior leadership and managing complex hiring roadmaps across multiple teams or locations.

  • Expertise in passive sourcing techniques and creative talent engagement strategies.

  • Data-driven mindset; comfortable using metrics to influence decisions and optimize recruiting processes.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple searches across various functions simultaneously.

  • Ability to prioritise workloads, multi-task and manage multiple relationships.

  • Collaborative, consultative approach with a strong commitment to providing an outstanding candidate and stakeholder experience.

  • Experience using ATS tools (Smart Recruiters, Workday) and sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.).
