Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Systems Integration Specialist - Saudi National to join our team! In this role you will get to support the delivery of systems integration across digital infrastructure, smart city, telecommunications, data center, and ELV domains on a major program. Working within an integrated client–PMC environment, you will assist in coordinating technical interfaces, ensuring seamless integration between multiple systems, vendors, and stakeholders while supporting operational readiness and project delivery.
- Support the Manager of Utilities and Integration Manager in delivering systems integration across digital infrastructure and smart city projects.
- Review and coordinate integration requirements between networks, IoT platforms, telecommunications systems, ELV systems, data centers, and other smart technologies.
- Prepare and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs), interface registers, dependency logs, integration trackers, and interface matrices.
- Capture and document technical interface requirements, including data flows, communication protocols, ownership, security requirements, operational dependencies, and system responsibilities.
- Review vendor and consultant integration proposals to verify compliance with project architecture, technical standards, and operational requirements.
- Assist in preparing integration specifications, data mapping documents, interface matrices, technical review comments, and testing documentation.
- Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, coordination meetings, and integration planning sessions.
- Support integration using APIs, BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, OPC, MQTT, SFTP, middleware platforms, and other system interfaces.
- Maintain integration issue logs, defect trackers, decision registers, action logs, and escalation records.
- Support troubleshooting of multi-system integration issues during design, testing, commissioning, migration, cutover, and operational readiness phases.
- Coordinate with NOC, SOC, Operations & Maintenance, and Facilities Management teams to validate monitoring requirements, alarms, dashboards, escalation procedures, and operational workflows.
- Review as-built documentation, integration diagrams, system architecture drawings, operational runbooks, and handover documentation.
- Ensure integration deliverables comply with ICT, telecommunications, data center, cybersecurity, PDPL, ISO 27001, and operational resilience standards.
- Prepare technical reports, dashboards, progress updates, risk registers, and management presentations.
- Identify interface risks, unresolved technical conflicts, vendor dependencies, and operational readiness gaps while supporting mitigation activities.
- Support knowledge transfer activities by preparing interface documentation, test evidence, operational playbooks, lessons learned, and handover packages.
- Promote collaboration between clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams to ensure successful systems integration.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.
- Bachelor's Degree in ICT, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in systems integration, ICT, telecommunications, ELV, smart city, or data center projects.
- Experience supporting complex infrastructure, mixed-use developments, campuses, smart city, or critical infrastructure programs.
- Strong knowledge of systems integration methodologies and interface management.
- Hands-on experience integrating data centers, POP/MMR facilities, fiber optic networks, telecommunications systems, IoT platforms, CCTV, BMS, ACS, smart platforms, and multi-vendor environments.
- Experience preparing and managing Interface Control Documents (ICDs), interface registers, and technical integration documentation.
- Knowledge of integration technologies and protocols including APIs, BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, OPC, MQTT, SFTP, and middleware solutions.
- Experience supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), Integrated Systems Testing (IST), commissioning, migration, and cutover activities.
- Strong understanding of technical documentation, systems architecture, and operational readiness processes.
- Knowledge of ICT, telecommunications, cybersecurity, and operational resilience standards.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
