Senior Specialist, Global Marketing Automation Admin (Ops)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketo administrator to join our team. This role involves managing the administration of “Marketo”, the marketing automation platform to ensure smooth and efficient operations of all marketing campaigns, initiatives and backend operations connected to the systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including data remediation actions, troubleshooting production/operational issues, supporting and monitoring multiple platform integrations, working with data and marketing cloud teams/projects, testing new module implementations and ensuring the platform is always up and running

In this role, you will have the opportunity to do:

Marketo Platform Management: Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Marketo platform, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Overseeing operational models within Marketo to ensure they align with business goals, ensuring standard operating procedure and documentation is created for operational stability. Maintain user permissions and access controls to safeguard data and system functionality.

Integration Management: Ensure seamless management of existing integration of Marketo with other marketing and sales tools, such as CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, data cloud, etc), webinar platforms, and data analytics tools. Partner with Sales force developers and data cloud team to support and help build on new projects.

Strategic Planning: Support and implement comprehensive marketing automation strategies along with various different project teams that align with overall business objectives and marketing goals.

Data Integrity: Perform standard daily admin processes to maintain the integrity and reliability of the Marketo platform inclusive of field management and data management. Ensure data cleanliness, manage data imports/exports, duplicate records and maintain data integrity within Marketo and integrated CRM systems.

Reporting & Analytics: Help develop to maintain dashboards and reports to track campaign performance, ROI, and other key metrics. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Optimization & Innovation: Continuously monitor and optimize marketing automation processes and workflows. Stay updated on the latest Marketo features and industry best practices to drive innovation through the platform.

Campaign Management: Constantly innovate ideas and suggestions to improve lead scoring and customer engagement initiatives through automation efforts that can support campaign management and production teams. Training & Leadership: Opportunity to lead team providing guidance, training, and support to enhance marketing automation efforts on best practices, staying updated to the latest industry trends around utilization of marketing automation and better customer engagement.

Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities through marketo comply with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and company policies. 

The essential requirements and expertise that this job will include:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing automation, with at least 3 years specifically in Marketo administration.
  • Demonstrated and valid experience within marketo administration with proven success in designing and upkeeping of marketo admin management.
  • Demonstrated experience driving innovation and process improvement that enables the business to achieve its objective.
  • Ability to self-start and learn. Focused, organized and driven. Working with multiple stakeholders globally in a cross functional team set up.
  • Capable of project-managing multiple priorities, while staying on top of timely communications with stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communications and presentation skills.
  • Possesses creative problem troubleshooting skills (e.g. reproducing error scenarios, investigation, and exercising solutions)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • CSS, HTML, Javascript, Python, MySQL 
  • Agile framework 
  • Salesforce (SFDC), Sitecore Content Management, Hybris Product Information Management, Data and Marketing Cloud.
