Job Summary
As FreeWheel is expanding into the Asian market, this position will be a key element to provide specific product and/or technical knowledge, advice and solutions to local account teams and customers for new deployments, expansion projects and internal initiatives on FreeWheel's ad-serving platforms that enable customers to stream, track and monetize their content online.
Job Description
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Solutions Engineer (SE) to join our Singapore office. In this role, you'll help bring FreeWheel's technology to life by supporting key product implementations and ensuring clients get the most out of our ad-serving platforms.
You'll act as a technical expert during sales and deployment processes, working closely with clients and internal teams to solve complex challenges. Your insights will help shape best practices and improve how our products are used globally.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the technical execution of FreeWheel's most demanding client initiatives
  • Independentlydesign, implement and document business and technical solutions for advanced client projects based on the ability to translate business requirements directly from customers.
  • Address major escalations and client-wide difficulties, assist in complex implementations, and clarify appropriate resolution paths for new or unclear use cases
  • Act as primary liaison between Client Account Teams, Product- and Revenue teams for matters related to the CSE's clients, providing guidance and feedback on product usage and gaps or needs
  • Provide advice to Marketing, Product Marketing and Revenue Development on "story", materials and product features
  • Participate in pre-sales efforts to support the revenue team in case in a prospect needs technical insight into FreeWheel's technology and conduct product demos
  • Provide training to internal teams, and occasionally to our clients and partners
  • Provides timely, technical support and problem resolution for escalated field service questions from Services team
  • Provides client account coverage when requested to do by management to cover sickness/PTO or times of severe resource constraint
  • Demonstrate ability to independently and effectively manage at least one enterprise and multiple standard client accounts
  • Trains and onboards new team members (buddy program)

Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree
  • 5-8 years experience in Adtech
  • Senior level, proven track record on working indepently from management with local teams - reqires minimal guidance
  • Strong communication skills - this position requires significant amount of client interaction. Being a Client Solutions Engineer is all about explaining how the technology solves the business problem. You should be able to do this well, to any audience; from developers to executives, in a way that both communicates value and achieves the desired results.
  • Be able to determine own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • You have solid skills with web/mobile technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, ActionScript 3, Objective C, XML, etc. The more the better.
  • You should have working knowledge of database structures and SQL.
  • Experience in programmatic ad serving (DSP/SSP) is a plus
