About the Job
We are seekinga Software Engineer to join our Solutions Engineering team in Seoul. This rolewill be reinforcing our Solutions Engineering team by supporting customersusing our Qt framework our customers in Korea. Your responsibilities includeefficiently handling support requests, offering technical assistance throughemail and virtual meetings, as well as identifying, troubleshooting, andresolving issues related to Qt. In this role one can be at the beginning oftheir career but highly motivated and have some experience in softwaredevelopment from before. You should be passionate about great customer serviceand always interested in making customers achieve their goals.
You will
- Conductin-depth analysis of the Android Native Framework, including Surface Flingerand Rendering Engine
- Develop andexecute strategies for porting relevant modules of the Qt Framework to theAndroid Native Framework level
- Solvetechnical issues and perform optimization tasks during the porting process
- Collaboratewith other engineers in the team to achieve project goals
- Conductperformance and stability testing of the ported solutions
- Understandtechnical customer requirements and find solutions together with ProductManagement / R&D.
- Providestrategic and senior-level product presentations, demonstrations, and tradeshow support.
- Processsupport requests from prospects and customers who are developers using our Qtframework and Android OS
- Provideoptimal Qt coding solutions for customers
- Work closelywith customers and help them to achieve their goals
- Providetechnical support via email and, in some cases, virtual meetings
- Create newand translate existing technical content into Korean to support our onboardingoffering
About you
- Bachelor'sdegree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Deepunderstanding of Android Native Framework, especially Surface Flinger andRendering Engine
- Practicalexperience with Qt Framework and participation in porting projects
- Proficiencyin C++ and Java programming languages
- Experiencein Linux kernel and driver development
- Excellentproblem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- Effectivecommunication skills and ability to work in a team
- Excellentpresentation, demonstration, and facilitation skills in leading meetings,trials, and projects
- Good writtenand verbal communication skills with both internal stakeholders and customers
- Qt knowledgeis a clear advantage
- Developmentexperience and understanding of OpenGL or 3D engines is preferred.
- Experienceof Android Automotive is preferred.
- Native levelKorean and Good English language skills
