Kizen's mission is to build technology that enables an increasingly fulfilling future for humanity.
The Role

Job Title: Sr. Solutions Engineer

Location: New York, NY (In-office 4x per week)

Company: Kizen, www.kizen.com

About Us

At Kizen, we build technology that makes AI actually work for people.

Our platform helps organizations automate the workflows that matter most — from helping insurance agents manage contracting and commissions, to enabling healthcare providers to deliver proactive patient care, to empowering financial institutions to classify documents and extract data automatically.

And that’s just the beginning. With Kizen, developers can build new enterprise applications, while business users can customize dashboards and agents using AI, low-code, or code — all on the same platform. The possibilities are limited only by imagination.

What used to take months or years to build, configure, and connect now takes just days. Kizen combines powerful pre-built agents and use cases with an enterprise platform for automation and data connection — all built on an AI-first architecture that’s easy to adopt, scale, and trust.

We’re not chasing hype. We’re solving real operational problems and helping the world’s most complex organizations work faster, smarter, and more humanely.

Join us in transforming how industries work — one workflow, one agent, and one customer success story at a time.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. In this customer-facing role, you will partner with our sales organization to drive the full client lifecycle—from pre-sales discovery and proof-of-concept demonstrations to post-sales implementation and optimization. Reporting to the VP of Solutions, you will leverage your technical expertise in enterprise solutions to showcase Kizen's value, solve complex customer challenges, and ensure seamless adoption.

Key Responsibilities

What You’ll be Doing

  • Personally designing and building working prototypes for new, high-potential use cases using the Kizen platform
  • Leading business discovery and translating complex requirements into clear, actionable technical documentation
  • Supporting demos and addressing technical solution questions in pre-sales cycles for both new and existing use cases
  • Scoping and estimating solution architecture needs, integrations, and implementation effort across enterprise engagements
  • Acting as the bridge between sales, R&D, and implementation — owning technical conversations
  • Continuously identifying opportunities for innovation, optimization, and integration across industries and verticals
  • Developing clear pictures of the current state of the tech stack in large enterprises, helping them understand future state, and charting a clear course from today to where they want to be
  • Working with large enterprises architecting digital and process transformation - you must be able to build coalitions across diverse groups with different goal
Requirements

Minimum Requirements — What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise consulting, solution architecture, or pre-sales engineering in a SaaS or tech-enabled services environment
  • Strong consulting background — with a deep understanding of business processes, operations, and workflow optimization
  • Experience designing data models and integrations (APIs, ETL processes), particularly between systems like EMRs, CRMs, ERPs, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear business and technical requirements and translate them into prototypes or POCs
  • Hands-on technology implementation skills (configuring, testing, iterating SaaS solutions)
  • Strong enterprise sales acumen — with the ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and support long sales cycles
  • Fast learner able to quickly ramp into new industries and use cases with confidence and curiosity
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven — able to juggle multiple engagements with clarity
  • Executive presence with excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills

Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Experience in regulated industries like insurance or financial services
  • Strong technical foundation with the ability to discuss architecture, APIs, and integration patterns fluently
  • Fluent in SQL, Excel wizardry, or Python scripting. Prompt engineering experience is a plus
  • Understanding of AI, ML, and automation concepts (we can teach this!)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern software development workflows
  • A deep love for tech, data, and using both to drive better outcomes
