Overview of the job

As a Business Analyst (Contractor), you will be a key part of a data transformation engagement for one of our leading retail clients. You will work closely with client stakeholders and internal delivery teams to define, align, and deliver data-driven solutions that directly impact business performance.

In this role, you will get to:

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with client stakeholders across multiple business units
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable data and analytics requirements
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment and drive decision-making to support solution design
• Serve as a client-facing leader, bridging communication between business and technical teams
• Provide consultative support on data strategy, architecture, and implementation best practices
• Support project scoping, documentation, and validation of data solutions
• Leverage your understanding of SAP systems and enterprise data environments to anticipate integration challenges
• Collaborate with Commercial team, Project Managers, Data Engineers, Data Analysts and Tech Architects throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Help ensure client satisfaction through proactive engagement and strong relationship management

You’ll be successful if you have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Consultant, or Project Manager on data or analytics projects in large organizations
• Experience working with enterprise clients, ideally in retail or consumer-focused industries
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills, with the ability to lead discussions and facilitate consensus
• A consultative mindset with an ability to identify business needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Solid understanding of data architecture, data platforms, and analytics processes
• Familiarity with SAP systems or experience working with data sourced from SAP environments
• Excellent documentation, presentation, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage priorities effectively
