Quantum Rise is a rapidly scaling AI consulting and product development start-up focused on helping high growth organizations adopt AI and win their industry. Our offerings range from strategy and roadmap engagements through to full AI/ML product development. We are expanding our solution architecture team and are looking for talented and experienced team members to join as a Senior Solution Architect, driving the design of solutions for strategic clients across multiple industries. We operate in line with 3 guiding principles that we call Consulting 2.0:

• Profit, not PowerPoints.... while we create PowerPoints (strategy & roadmaps) our primary objective is to help get our clients build and deploy AI solutions that significantly impact profit (top line revenue and bottom-line costs)
• Product, not projects... the AI products we deploy should always on, continuously measured, and iteratively improved via the product backlog
• Open, not black box... we will take our clients along the journey helping them understand how it works and the fundamentals that influence AI product success like process/end-use experience, data strategy, governance, and change management.

Taken together these guiding principles mean it is critical that our solutions are impactful for our clients and combine precise understanding of their business with the right technical architecture for the problem.
Position Summary
Solution Architects at Quantum Rise play a pivotal role sitting between our frontline sales team members and our delivery teams. Their job is simple, but not easy: help identify and design deliverable technical solutions which address client needs. This is listening carefully to understand where opportunities lie for a business, combined with understanding of the wide and varied technical landscape. Together, you'll refine the Art of the Possible down into the right tools for the right problem to move a business further along their AI journey. You'll work closely with teams like pre-sales and sales upstream and with those downstream like client delivery and engineering. Given our start-up nature we look for Solution Architects to drive consensus across these teams, helping advocate for the client's best interests and for our own ability to deliver. As we respond to the market and our clients, we'll look for Solution Architects to additionally influence and contribute to new offerings and corresponding sales engineering, helping to templatize solutions which are repeatable. This role is designed for an exceptional, self-starting individual contributors who do not shy away from business or from technology, and who come to the table with a solid understanding of strategy, data and AI/ML.
The ideal candidate is a strong technical resource who branched out into business-side roles, or the reverse, a strategic business or operations individual who couldn't resist learning deeper technical skills.
Key Responsibilities

• Translate client business goals into implementable AI/ML solution architectures which bring the client further along the maturity journey. Define end-to-end designs spanning data, models, integrations and user-experience.
• Partner with sales and strategy teams to assess opportunities, shape proposals, and produce solution blueprints, statements of work, and delivery estimates that are technically sound and commercially viable.
• Think beyond individual engagements, demonstrating longer term vision for solutions and technologies which clients can aim towards, and which Quantum Rise can help deliver.
• Lead discovery sessions with both business and technical client team members to uncover business pain points, data realities and process constraints, turning them into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
• Serve as solution owner during initial delivery phases, guiding technical and delivery teams on architecture adherence, design trade-offs, risk mitigation and deeper understanding of the problems being solved.
• Apply generative-AI and classical-ML knowledge to recommend the right models, frameworks, and platforms. Stay ahead of emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability for client use cases.
• Contribute to the creation of repeatable architectures, reference designs, and accelerators that improve delivery efficiency and enable Quantum Rise to scale consistently across clients.
• Act as a trusted advisor for client executives, translating complex AI concepts into clear business language and ensuring alignment between strategy and execution.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and consulting teams to ensure seamless hand-offs and a unified client experience across pre-sales, delivery, and ongoing optimization.
• Work with the product and engineering teams to establish architecture standards, review designs for scalability and security, and ensure solutions comply with client and Quantum Rise governance practices.
• Collect lessons learned from projects to refine architectures, internal tooling, and sales approaches, supporting a culture of measurable impact and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data & Analytics, Informatics, Engineering, Business Management or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience working in at least two different industries, or similar experience in consulting environments across projects in multiple industries, with a proven track record of architecting strategic initiatives which delivered on their promises.
• Fluency both in Generative AI capabilities as well as traditional machine learning solutions, along with general good software implementation principles
• Experience in architecting and delivering commercial data science engagements, demonstrating an ability to make data-driven recommendations using datasets which are revenue impacting for a business
• Experience integrating Generative AI tooling into your own productivity and work, and in evaluating its effects
• Exceptional project management skills, with experience in applying agile methodologies and tools.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to place yourself in the shoes of a client and envision the right tools for the problem at hand even if they require both technical and organizational motion.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, capable of influencing others and creating buy-in, working effectively across all levels of the organization.
• This role is for a dynamic individual who thrives in a startup atmosphere, ready to apply their expertise to help Quantum Rise grow and succeed.
• An MBA is advantageous but not strictly required.
