What we do
RELEX runs the planning decisions behind 600+ retailers and manufacturers worldwide, deciding, at real scale, what gets forecast, stocked, priced, promoted, and produced across the entire value chain. Few problems combine this much data, this much complexity, and this much real-world weight: get it right and a shelf stays stocked, a factory line doesn’t stall, food doesn’t spoil in a warehouse before it’s sold. Get it wrong, and it shows up in actual losses, for some of the largest retail and manufacturing brands in the world.
We’ve grown for 76 consecutive quarters straight, and it’s still accelerating. The first half of 2026 was the strongest in the company’s history. We’re a team of 2,000+ people, headquartered in Helsinki, with offices across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific.
In response to our fast growth and market expansion, we are looking for a Senior Solution Architect who wants to work at the frontier of what RELEX can deliver: trying out new platform capabilities before they reach a customer project, and turning what you learn into practical know-how for our delivery teams across EMEA and APAC.
What we need you to do and be

- You will work hands-on with new RELEX functionality and tooling (for example Cortex, Factory and Plan Plugins) in early pilots, prototypes and the first customer projects that adopt it.
- You will test whether new capabilities hold up across customers, markets and regions, flag where they don’t, and recommend practical adjustments to our Product and Engineering teams.
- You will co-develop plugins, tooling and extensions that solve recurring regional problems, and leave reusable patterns behind for the teams.
- You will support delivery teams on complex customer scenarios, non-standard requirements and product limitations, giving honest feasibility assessments and risk flags before commitments are made to customers.
- You will use AI tools to make your own frontier work faster, prove practical AI use cases on real projects, and help regional teams adopt them.
- You will design and deliver training, including train-the-trainer sessions with regional champions, so the capability stays in the regions.
- You will build working relationships with regional delivery leaders and with Product and Engineering, and bring field findings to them as structured cases.
- You will join cross-regional leadership forums and raise risks, dependencies and blockers.
This role owns capabilities, not territories. Project delivery stays with the regional teams: you contribute to a project, then hand it back.
What you’ll bring to the table

- Hands-on RELEX Plan delivery, with several projects taken from design through to go-live, across more than one customer and ideally more than one country or product area
- Understanding of the business processes behind the software, such as replenishment, forecasting, assortment or promotions, and the judgment to tell when a technically correct answer doesn’t solve the business problem
- Experience as the go-to person on a complex topic: leading the solution on a complex implementation, resolving an escalation others couldn’t, or being pulled into other projects as the expert
- Ability to read and write RELEX configuration independently, including business rules, the data model and TQL (the RELEX query language). Scripting is a plus.
- Daily use of AI tools in your own work, with a concrete example of something you built, automated or sped up
- A track record of learning something new without a course and applying it on a real project
- Experience starting something nobody asked for and carrying it through to a result, such as a tool, a method, a fix or a session for colleagues
- Comfort declining a request and explaining your reasoning under pressure, including to senior stakeholders
- Ability to build and keep working relationships across regions and functions where nobody reports to you
- Ability to explain a technical constraint clearly to a non-technical audience
- Comfortable with using AI in your everyday work and developing the use of AI tools as a larger organizational strategy
- Fluent in written and spoken English

Skills Required
- Hands-on RELEX Plan delivery experience across several projects from design through go-live
- Experience across multiple customers and ideally multiple countries or product areas
- Understanding of replenishment, forecasting, assortment, or promotion business processes
- Experience serving as the subject matter expert for a complex implementation, escalation, or solution
- Ability to independently read and write RELEX configuration, business rules, the data model, and TQL
- Daily use of AI tools with a concrete example of something built, automated, or accelerated
- Track record of independently learning new concepts and applying them to a real project
- Experience initiating and completing an unrequested tool, method, fix, or colleague training session
- Ability to decline requests and explain reasoning to senior stakeholders under pressure
- Ability to build cross-regional and cross-functional relationships without direct authority
- Ability to explain technical constraints clearly to non-technical audiences
- Comfort using AI in everyday work and developing organizational AI adoption
- Fluent written and spoken English
