The Senior Software Test Engineer for Cytiva is responsible for verification & validation of Service Platform & Products to enable remote troubleshooting and diagnostics.

This position is part of the Global Service R&D Organization located in Bengaluru and will be an Onsite role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop and troubleshoot automated test protocols using C#/.NET technologies and other languages such as SQL, JSON, XML, ASP.NET, JavaScript or Python as needed
• Participate on an Agile Scrum team, working as a team member and independently. Lead technical discussions on requirements, design options and root cause of failures. Give/Receive feedback in peer code inspections to ensure quality
• Identify opportunities for improvement in areas within the department. We plan time to solve our systemic problems and encourage team members to help expose them and find creative solutions.
• Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and procedures for verification and validation activities. Design and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability. Conduct various testing phases including unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing in Azure DevOps.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred with 5+ years of industry experience in software/system verification and validation
• Ability to develop comprehensive test plans and protocols based on requirements, risk analysis, and designs
• Experience designing and implementing unit and automated integration tests
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. 
• Proficiency in scripting languages and test automation tools (e.g., Python, C#, etc.). .

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Biotechnology/Life Sciences industry
• GMP & regulatory environments
• QMS and Documentation Practices
