Senior Software QA (Manual Testing)
Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer with 6-10 years of manual testing experience to ensure high-quality product releases through requirement analysis, test execution, database validation, and production issue investigation. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about leveraging AI to improve quality engineering outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end testing for assigned features and releases.
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to identify gaps, risks, and test scenarios.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance requirement analysis, test design, test data preparation, and coverage.
- Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases.
- Validate backend data and business logic using PostgreSQL/MySQL queries.
- Investigate and resolve client-reported issues in collaboration with support and development teams.
- Track defects through resolution, retesting, and regression testing.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools to streamline test documentation, reporting, and QA knowledge management.
- Promote an AI-First Quality Engineering approach by improving QA processes through intelligent testing practices and automation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 6-10 years of Software QA experience with strong manual testing expertise.
- Strong SQL and database testing skills (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
- Experience in requirement analysis, defect management, and production support.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools for requirements analysis, test documentation, test case generation, test automation, or quality engineering activities.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software testing best practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the US Healthcare domain.
- API testing experience using Postman or Swagger.
- Experience leveraging AI for requirements analysis, test case generation, documentation creation, test automation acceleration, defect analysis, and quality reporting.
- Demonstrated AI-First mindset with a track record of improving quality, efficiency, and innovation through AI-assisted testing practices.
- Experience mentoring QA team members.
- Experience testing data-intensive or analytics-driven applications.
