LivaNova is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Software Product Owner to join our innovative team.

This role serves as the crucial interface between the Software Architect, UX/UI Designer, Strategic Marketing, and the development team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.

Positioned within our R&D team, this role requires close collaboration with the development team and Strategic Marketing, as well as direct interaction with end users to refine and understand their needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• In close collaboration with the Product Manager, ensures that the Marketing requirement generated by the Strategic Marketing function are clear, properly supported by coherent vision, and understood by all relevant stakeholders.
• Accountable, together with the UX/UI, of ideating the solution that meets the Strategic Marketing needs, and to maintain and execute the ideation process.
• Accountable for creation and maintenance of the User Stories backlog, in close collaboration with the UX/UI and Business analyst.
• Ensures that the whole development team (UX/UI, SW Architects, Developers, QA) have proper understanding of the domain and of the typical use cases.
• Accountable for the definition of the user stories, in close collaboration with the Business Analyst.
• Accountable for the features design, in close collaboration with the UX/UI and the SW Architects.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the user processes, needs, pain points, and identify opportunities, by performing user centric design workshops with clients.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager and other Product Owners on the prioritization of requirements and maintain a complete backlog of all activities.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and identify the strengths and weaknesses of competitors and use them to make a great product.

The Individual

• Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar domains.
• Extensive experience in a similar role, particularly with products that have a high digital impact.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with the Agile Scrum Framework.
• Strong capabilities in requirement engineering.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, including proficiency in visualization patterns.
• Fluency in English is essential.
• IREB Product Owner certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in the MedTech industry is an advantage.
