Tenet3 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Frontend Engineer to join our team in the Midwest region. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building a visually-exciting, high-performing, intuitive web application to solve challenging security problems.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
You will use a ReactJS, Typescript, Pixi, SCSS and HTML5 client-side stack to interact with users.
You will:
- Develop, test, enhance, debug, and implement software
- Collaborate with the design and project teams on product specifications
- Configure applications according to design specifications
- Participate in peer reviews of code written by other developers
- Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications
- Participate in development of software documentation and user manuals
- Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages
- Assist in preparing estimates for implementing new system enhancements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a similar discipline.
- Technology experience in one or more of the following: ReactJS, Typescript, Pixi, SCSS, web architectures and protocols, RDBMS, continuous integration and deployment
- 5+ years of Production Software Engineering Experience • Ability to take ownership of features and stories and drive them through from discovery to release
- Understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures and algorithms)
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients
- Experience interacting with APIs (REST, SOAP or GraphQL)
- Experience with AWS is preferred
- Eligibility to establish and maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.

Hybrid work location possible. Located within 4 hour driving distance of Dayton, Ohio. Paid relocation available to the Dayton region.
