Belay Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer (SWE3) to join our intel team. The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines.
- An additional 4 years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 9 years.
- 8+ years of Software Engineering experience
- 3 years of work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains
Candidates are required to have the following skills:
- Automated testing
- Junit testing
- Java programming experience
- Familiarity with ICAM standards and mandates (NIST 800-63-3, FIPS 201-2, etc.)
- Understanding of PKI and REST
- Experience authoring test plans scenarios and cases for REST services and UI
- Ability to provide usability input
- Add the ability to categorize defects into prioritization categories
- Experience with Ansible and GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills-able to clearly communicate architecture and design concepts
- Ability to write technical documentation including wiki sites, blogs, XML/HTML
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision to meet deadlines
- Must be able to work in a collaborative environment. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Salary Range: $190,000 to $240,000
