Shape the future of security productsAs part of a Bot Manager Engineering team, you will be focused on building highly usable, reliable, and scalable software solutions for bot threat detection, protection and control feature. Allowing our customers to better manage bot traffic and help improve the internet for millions of people
As a Senior Software Engineer , you will be responsible for:
- Working on projects that improve our bot detection products making Akamai a leader in bot detection.
- Implementing new features from scratch. Enhancing existing features and optimize existing functionality.
- Creating designs and take them through full development cycle to completion
- Working on development QA and system QA to come up with regression tests.
- Working with our level 3 support to troubleshooting complex problems or any customer issues.
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- 4 years of overall SW development experience and relevant degree in Computer Science.
- 3+ years of experience with web development.
- 4+ years of experience working with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of build tools like Jenkins
- Be able to design with best possible architectures and write clean well-structured high-quality software under tight schedules
