Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in code reviews, deployments, and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.
- Design and develop software requirements for AI products, including software architectures, APIs, frameworks, and libraries.
- Develop and execute comprehensive tests for new technologies and capabilities to integrate into the UxSAI program.
- Collaboratively develop requirements for autonomous software and shape enterprise architecture.
- Employ AI/ML at the tactical edge to support and enhance SOF operations.
- Assess the performance, scalability, and security of proposed technologies within UxSAI architecture.
- Maintain and guide the development of common libraries and tools across teams.
- Formulate strategies for rapid prototyping of AI capabilities.
Required Experience/Clearance
- Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
- 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
- At least 5 years of recent, hands-on software development experience.
- Proven experience building and deploying software, specifically to edge capabilities.
- Demonstrated expertise using industry-standard CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Go, Rust).
- Technical experience architecting and delivering complex software projects involving multiple modules, APIs, data integration, and algorithm stacks.
- Experience in developing, modifying, or integrating software (including models and algorithms) at the enterprise level.
Desired Experience
- Experience with technologies such as Databricks or Spark to analyze or train models using large datasets.
- Recent software development experience building a Platform as a Service (PaaS).
- Experience working with open-source computer vision libraries.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience developing with CUDA or Assembly.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
Compensation range for this position is the following
- Starting $175,000.00/year to $200,000.00/year
