Mission and Goals:
Join our eCommerce team and help build a modern, multi-brand ordering platform that supports a wide range of payment methods and serves as the backbone for our digital commerce. Your work will directly impact the performance, reliability, and scalability of our platform. You’ll also leverage cutting-edge AI tools to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and solve complex problems.
Objectives
- Design and develop test scenarios and test cases independently based on functional and technical requirements
- Build and maintain robust automated tests for high-availability, highly scalable applications used by internal and external customers
- Execute manual and automated tests, log defects, and actively participate in defect triage, resolution, and retesting with Scrum and external teams
- Collaborate closely with engineering and DevOps teams to integrate testing and automation into CI/CD pipelines
- Proactively identify opportunities to apply AI and intelligent automation to improve testing effectiveness, reduce test cycle time, and shorten overall delivery lead time
- Evaluate existing QA workflows to determine where AI-assisted approaches (test generation, execution optimization, defect analysis, test maintenance) can deliver measurable improvements
- Use data and insights from AI-enabled tools to continuously improve test coverage, stability, and quality signal
- Demonstrate strong ownership of E2E quality for assigned modules or components
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities
- Provide schedule flexibility to collaborate with offshore teams as needed (early mornings or late hours)
Competencies
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in software quality engineering, testing, and automation
- Strong experience designing and maintaining test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming, particularly Java; familiarity with Python is a plus
- Solid expertise in testing and automating SOAP and REST APIs using tools such as SOAPUI/ReadyAPI, Postman, and REST-Assured
- Hands-on experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins/TeamCity, Maven, and GitHub
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases, with a preference for Oracle
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments
- Demonstrated ability to analyze testing bottlenecks and identify automation or AI-assisted solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and lead time
- Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with AI-enabled testing tools or techniques, with an outcomes-driven mindset (e.g., reduced cycle time, improved coverage, lower defect leakage)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate quality challenges into scalable automation or AI-driven improvements
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and cross-functional collaboration)
- Experience in an eCommerce environment is a plus
