Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions using React, AWS, and modern scripting languages.
- Drive architecture decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Cloud Development
- Leverage AWS services for application development, including database management, serverless computing, and cloud storage solutions.
- Optimize performance and cost-efficiency of applications hosted in AWS.
- Ensure security best practices in cloud-based development.
API Development & Integration
- Oversee API design, development, and management to support seamless integration across systems.
- Ensure APIs adhere to performance, scalability, and security standards.
Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD)
- Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows.
- Optimize release processes to improve delivery speed and reduce errors.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Promote best practices in coding, testing, and deployment across the team.
Scripting and Development
- Utilize expertise in scripting languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python to deliver robust software solutions.
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and performance optimization.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Solution Engineers, QA, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and design.
- Proficient in React for building responsive, user-centric web applications.
- Hands-on cloud experience with AWS services such as Lambda.
- Experience working with AWS databases (e.g., DynamoDB, Redshift) optimizing for performance and scalability.
- Strong knowledge of designing, developing, and managing APIs on platforms like WSO2, REST and GraphQL.
- Advanced skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python for software development and scripting.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks for managing and delivering projects.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like BitBucket, Docker and Terraform.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional technology teams, including software engineers, solution engineers, infrastructure engineers, and architects
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and mentoring junior developers.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Cloud certifications preferred
- Expertise in one or more wealth management disciplines, such as portfolio management and trading, client advisory services, or modern corporate finance practices
The base salary range for this position is $110,000.00- $180,000.00. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role. In addition, this position may be eligible for a discretionary incentive based on individual and company performance.
Eligible employees may participate in a 401 (k) program with a company profit sharing contribution, medical, dental, vision, life insurance and disability coverage and paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
