That’s why we’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong full-stack development skills and an interest in building AI-enhanced products for clinical trials. This role will contribute to applications that drive data quality, automate cognitive test scoring, and improve decision-making through central monitoring and AI-assisted insights. This role combines hands-on development with opportunities to experiment, integrate, and optimize AI models within production systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop clean code, reusable components, and unit tests.
- Develop feature functionality within the platform framework for product specific requirements, while still maintaining re-use and leveraging design patterns.
- Review other developer’s code.
- Understand and evaluate user stories, workflows and wireframes.
- Identify functionality contained within our platform library as well as contribute to its capabilities.
- Collaborate with product managers, expand upon desired functionality and provide technical approaches that accomplish the product needs.
- Work with project management to orchestrate current work and planning of future work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS3.
- Strong backend experience in C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, WebAPI (REST).
- Solid understanding of Relational (SQL Server) databases.
- Proficiency with Python for scripting, automation, or backend development is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Azure or other cloud environments for application deployment and monitoring.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.
- Understanding of unit testing, design patterns, and modular, maintainable code.
- Experience with web standards, browser capabilities, and best-practices.
- Understanding of unit test development and design patterns.
- Write clean, testable, cross-browser, modular, commented code.
