We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join a service development team. We are seeking candidates with a breadth of experience in cloud serverless technologies, microservice development, SDKs, and who are comfortable jumping into front end web or mobile code to create sample applications. You will be working on a vertical engineering team with code mostly written in Typescript (service, SDK, web), Swift and Kotlin.
At Anonyome we are committed to quality and a Secure Software Development Life Cycle. All code changes are peer reviewed. We value meaningful unit, integration and UI tests with high code coverage. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a well-established global start-up, working with global leaders in the security and privacy space located in our Australian Headquarters. This is a hybrid position, 3 days in office per week.
Must-haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- ·3+ years of experience developing in a full stack environment
- Experience with cloud serverless (e.g. AWS lambda) and infrastructure as code (e.g. CloudFormation, CDK).
- Expertise in Typescript
- Ability to support services with an on-call rotation
- Some experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and scripting such as bash.
- Experience with test automation including unit tests, integration, UI tests.
- Applied understanding of basic cryptography, e.g. web crypto.
- Willing to work up and down the stack including development of microservices, SDKs and front-end integration.
Bonus Points
- Experience with AWS, CloudFormation, CDK, Lambda, AppSync, DynamoDB.
- Experience with Electron and/or Web Browser Extensions
- Experience in iOS and/or Android development
- Experience with JS-Native interop (e.g. Node-API, NPAPI, etc)
- Experience with C++ or Rust
Experience with SOC 2 compliance.
